Positive Motion Organizing is a professional organizing company based in Alpharetta GA. Formerly known as STP Enterprises, Positive Motion has expanded its services greatly since its inception in 2005. “When we started STP Enterprises we were primarily focused on basic residential projects like closets, basements and garages.” says founder and president Summer Talamo-Phillips. Over the past few years of growth, they have expanded their services to be able to handle much larger scale projects as well.
“We still love to help individuals with smaller organization projects but now, since we have a larger staff and crew, we are also able to manage much larger projects that require more specialized organization such as moving walls and totally redesigning spaces to meet the needs of our clients.”

About the Owner
Summer Talamo-Phillips, CPO® has a passion for art and creativity. She has studied art for 15 years, and graduated from Georgia State University in 2003 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art. Summer has worked professionally as a Visual Artist displaying her works at exhibit halls such as the Museum of Modern Art in Atlanta, Georgia.
While working on various art projects in homes and offices around Atlanta a unique skill consistently emerged. Summer’s keen eye for detail and her flair for creating a well-ordered work space became very apparent to each of her clients. When clients began asking more organizational than artistic questions, Summer knew she had something that could serve people well. In 2005 she began her career as an Organizational Consultant founding STP Enterprises and then renaming it to Positive Motion Organizing in 2010.
While working with local artists and craftsmen in the Atlanta area, Summer noticed that much of what they struggled with was disorganization. Either their creativity was severely impacted by a lack of organizational know-how, or their creativity had no structure and was negatively impacting their business endeavors. She began showing her clients that getting more organized would bring them greater creative freedom.
Any home or office space exists for a very specific purpose. For the benefit and enjoyment of the people who use it. Being disorganized is more than just a nuisance. Disorganization reduces the benefit and effectiveness of any area. And there’s no enjoyment in clutter. Whether you’re organizing an entire home, a small work space, a home office, or just a closet, Summer’s mission on each project is simple: " To ensure that every area she touches, will in turn serve you".
